England's Dreaming - Sex Pistols and Punk Rock: Jon Savage, Faber, 1991

Totally agree - this is one of the all-time great rock 'n' roll reads. I finished this recently, and as it was my first biography I wasn't really sure what to expect, but I really enjoyed it. I found it really hard to put down, but a tad depressing. Not surprising though! Has anyone else read it?
