A timeless classic.

I agree - terrific. Would make a great motion picture for which someone like Richard Curtis could write some soppy old script. I suggest Hugh Grant to play the annoying fold that prevents one from working out which end of Theobald's Road has the lower numbers.

It certainly has some marvellous passages but the plotting is weak and the ending is rather tame. I'm surprised there were so many sequels (Cambridge is a particular favourite).

I would recommend the avant-garde version London Q to Biscuit.

Tired, tired, tired. What is this book trying to tell us that we haven't heard before? That Askew Road adjoins Uxbridge Road and Goldhawk Road? Yes, heard it already, thank you very much.

I can't believe they keep re-printing this rubbish year after year. It's hardly changed in the last two or three decades - the odd additional cul-de-sac here and there, the odd missing H where a hospital used to be. It's not enough. Come on guys, get with it! We're in the 21st century, what century are you in?
