The V&A Bowie exhibition has moved on to Toronto and the gallery chiefs have pored over his archive stores for clues to his literary taste.

Here is the list of books which they thought significant to his life land work:

Um. We all have books on our shelves which we mean to read but have never actually got round to. Especially the more worthy ones. Can we be sure that Bowie has actually read the books that have been picked out? His shelves have the look of a TBR collector if ever I saw one  :wonder:

 

Perhaps we should invite him to join BGO to discuss his little problem.

What a hilarious concept. Would anyone like to come and look at my bookshelves and tell me which 100 books have been most significant to my life and work?
