Obviously a little sad not to have my suggestions of

 

Books that were adapted into films starring Tom Cruise

&

Crime Novels with titles beginning with the letter F

 

seconded, but I will bare the rejection as best I can with chocolate and a good book... perhaps 'Five Red Herrings' by Dorothy L Sayers.

Agreed. It seems that themes is in, for the moment anyway. So why not begin with Between the Wars? It doesn't matter where we start, so long as we start.
