Guess The Lyrics

Recommended Posts

Who sang these lyrics?

"Did you exchange a walk on part in the war, for a leading role in the cage"

or rather "ca-a-age"

Whoever guesses right gets to pick the next one.

I think so too. Let's get this thread up and limping, shall we?

Anyone recognise this one?

"Sometimes I get the feeling, she's watching over me, and other times I feel like I should go"

That's My Chemical Romance, Welcome to the Black Parade. One of the warm-up-to-exercising songs on my iPod ;)

Anyone recognise this,

So if you don't rate, just over compensate

At least you'll know you can always go on Ricki Lake

It's something from when I was at university, and I think it's spoken rather than sung (or sung at a monotone). Can't place it more than that - thought it might be from "Ain't Nothing but Mammals" but I can't quite make it fit.

She dances across the porch...

It's the Boss aka Springsteen. Thunder Road.

My turn? (And I'll try to check for answers this time)

Can you hear them? They talk about us.

Telling lies, well that's no surprise.

Can you see them? See right through them...

This looks like a really fun game. Haven't recognized any of the songs (though I knew a few of them) but it makes you look at them more closely.

Thanks for the bump, Momo, since I totally forgot to point out that Hazel has the right answer.

"Hello there, the angel from my nightmare

The shadow in the background of the morgue

The unsuspecting victim of darkness in the valley

We can live like Jack and Sally if we want

Where you can always find me

We'll have Halloween on Christmas"
