Can I weigh in here and take this chain back to Isn't She Lovely? There is no connection between that and the Prince song, which in any case is called 1999, and so cannot have the word 'party' as the linked word. I know it's meant to be fun, but it only works if it's an actual chain.

However, to keep up the link to both Singing In The Rain and Isn't She Lovely, Lulu has come up with

She's In Parties - Bauhaus

(Yeah, that, uh, mystified me as well. Pluralisation - assuming it means adding little more than an 's' - is okay as far as I understood, elfstar...)

One Armed Scissor - At the Drive-In (...thereby quashing all thoughts of the execrable Mr W!!)

The Name of the Game - Abba

Got them on the brain now! Not funny. Did wonder whether anyone would get a link from Super Trouper!

This assumes that love was the previous link tho it could have been name!!

('Number of the Beast' was definitely 'The Maiden'. Give me 'yer Sabbaff' any day, though...)

Nine While Nine - The Sisters of Mercy

By the rules, as posted by Abbynormal, you should have used either 'Living' or 'Colour'.

Yeah - I've never really bought into that rule, personally, MD&G. Great song choice though...
