(Isn't the idea to repeat a different word each time?)

Yes, that's the way it's supposed to work!

Assuming that spelling variations are permitted...

Here's how it goes:

the first person names a song and group. Next person takes a word from the title and names another song. (No using easy words like "the", or "of", etc!)

If it's impossible to use one of the words in the previous title, use the group/singer and name another of their songss.

Sorry, these were the only 'rules' I saw ... isn't it just supposed to be a bit of fun? :o Anyway,

Lazy Susan - The Brothers

sorry no apostrophe 's'

Using the above rule...

Perfect Day - Lou Reed

Now...you don't know which word I carried over from the artists' name, so the whole house of cards could come tumbling down now.

OK, I carried over 'Day', so cue a Fairground Attraction song.

(I think it's an unwritten rule and much more itneresting if, wherever possible, a different word should be carried over. Otherwise, we could spend several pages listing songs with 'love' in the title.)

Isn't she lovely - Stevie Wonder (I think. At least it's his voice I'm hearing in my head singing it. Now all I have to do is get him to stop...)
