delanochicana
So far I have read (I am a bit slow to complete books...presumably because I read so many at one time): Â Alexandra Kitty - Don't Believe It! How Lies Become News ***** Anita E. Wladichuck - Anastasia and the Ghostly Owl (the Choice Was Hers!) *** Charles Johnson & Patricia Smith - Africans in America: America's Journey through Slavery ***** Daniel Partner - The Everyday Guide to the Gospels: A Friendly and Informative Guide to the Life of Christ *** Deborah Smith Pegues - 30 Days to Taming Your Tongue **** Elisabeth Kubler-Ross - On Death and Dying **** John W. Dean - Worse than Watergate: The Secret Presidency of George W. Bush ***** Leo Tolstoy - The Kruetzer Sonata **** Mike Lew - Victims No Longer: Men Recovering from Incest and Other Sexual Child Abuse ***** Olympia Vernon - Eden ***** Dr. Patti Feuereisen - Invisible Girls: The Truth About Sexual Abuse ***** Philip K. Dick - Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? **** Sheldon Rampton & John Stauber - Trust Us We're Experts: How Industry Maniuplates Science and Gambles With Your Future *** Â My favorite among these is the Olympia Vernon book. She is an excellent new writer. And Don't Believe It! How Lies Become News by Alexandra Kitty is an enlightening book. Â Edit - Invisible Girls has emerged as another favorite. It's a self-help book, and I learned a lot from it both as a survivor and as an activist against violence.
delanochicana
Do Andriods Dream of Electric Sheep - Philip K Dick **** Â Wow, you had the same opinion of this book that I did! Are you a fan of science fiction in general, or are you like me, not really liking sci-fi (and sometimes hating it) but liking what Philip K. Dick did with this book?
