Not sure if this should go here, the title is "Personal Memoirs/Unhappy Childhoods" and this book is certainly the former but not the latter.

I had no idea how Billy's family was connected to the music industry, and what connections! They make up a huge part of this small book (I read it in 4 hours), and they really take you back.......

The sweet story of his father, and how their relationship was over time was so satisfying; it's nice to hear good things once in a while. The author truly loved his parents and was loved by them; healthy relationships throughout the family make the story very readable. Even if you're not Jewish, you can certainly identify with the pictures he paints of his relatives and their daily lives (aside from the celebrity conenctions, of course!)

I really recommend this book for anyone wanting to feel good for a while; even after you put it down.
