My excuse was stocking up in case of self isolation  but to be honest I'd probably have got these anyway:

The Mirror and the Light - Hilary Mantel

The Priory of the Orange Tree - Samantha Shannon

She Merchants, Bucaneers and Gentlewomen - Katie Hickman

Over 2000 pges of reading so will keep me going for a while!

Existentialism from Dostoyevsky to Sartre, Walter Kaufmann and To the Ends of the Earth, William Golding.  I have 624 books out with these two so have more than enough to keep me occupied in the event of self-isolation. Which doesn't take into account my craft books and, if really, really desperate, I can always empty a cupboard.  But I'd have to be really desperate!
