  1. Hello Everyone, I've recently had my first book published by Austin Macauley. It's an illustrative cartoon look back at 1970s and 1980s Britain, although the popular cultural references, and the fashions, cars and home décor illustrated are fairly appropriate to many other countries as well. The book is called 'Retroland - A Humorous Look at 1970s & 1980s Britain' by Mark Patterson, and the reason I did it was because I've always had a passion for retro pop culture and lifestyle, having been born in the early 70s, and growing up in the 80s. I've injected my humour into it and laboured hard over the artwork, as I wanted to produce the best cartoons I could and give a real feel for the era in my work. I'm currently working on a second 'Retroland' book, but it's still early days. You can find it online by putting my name and 'Retroland' into a search engine, and there is also a small selection of cartoons I have produced available to view on image searches. I hope you find it and enjoy it. Thank you.
