This book has had a fair degree of media attention, as it was the subject of a popular Ted talk. I really enjoyed it, and although it was a fairly serious science / psychology book, I scooted through it in about a week. I recognised a lot of myself - many things, as she says, which you are might see as a character flaw rather than a legitimate preference, such as disliking parties and open-plan offices. She does make a strong case for the benefits of introversion, and it takes her a while to recognise that there might be a downside, too - or actual benefits to being an extrovert. That's my only criticism. I don't know what other popular literature is out there on introversion, but this felt as if it was an important contribution to our understanding of personality.
