  1. I’ve read some of the comments who said that they were let down by this book, How? I personally thought that this book was amazing. I wasn’t expecting it to be very good, maybe if you do in expecting nothing you get a good surprise. I thought that they layers to this book, and the view of the second world war was amazing. I also like the phrasing- there is one part not wanting to spoil anything, but it is written that I’m sorry that was so long, but those words just basically summed up how powerful I thought the book was, well worth the read because sometimes a books makes you thing, and feel. 2. How about Alex rider seris by anthony horowitz (i think thats how you spell the second name) the first ones called storm breakers. or maybe the cherub books by robert muchmore the first one is called recuit. i thought these would appeal to boys as the characters are boys, but i liked the and im a girl. starlockx
  3. For english lit we had to read 'To kill a mocking bird' by harper lee. It was intersting to see diffrent peoples reactions to haveing to read, i now some people who never read the book. I watched the film before reading the book, and it wouldnt have been a book i would have picked up on my own, but i was very amazed and can be honest and say that i loved it, and i think i loved it more beucase we went indepth into it and understand things said in the book in a larger context.
