  1. This novel is not as dystopian as it used to be. I read this book when I was younger, and also saw the movie. I recently re-read the novel. When I read it before, I was a young man not even 20. Now I’ve read it I’m 47. There are a lot of things in the novel I would change and reform. But the same can be said about the world I live in now. What I’ve noticed is I would rather start in that world and try to reform it, or make my place in one of the colonies. If a door opened up in my living room and I could stay in this world or go into that brave new one. I would walk through that door .
