  1. He ( bloody) great top notch the godfather of gore if you like slugs eating people alive and seeing murders thru the killers eyes and snuff movies etc he's your man does some good urban thrillers too have read most his books didn't like the IRA stuff though

    Hi momac I looked him up he highly rated on good reads he writes thrillers doesn't he bodily harm I might give it a go il put on too be read list

    I've only read the uninvited and didn't find it great but have done some reading up on Farris and he was apparently very underrated for his time so fort I'd give him a nother go as every writer got a few dudes in there bag so to say was just wondering if anyone has read his works and what they fort

    Hi I do read a lot yes and live in Wales I've never read Charlie Gallagher the topic i mentioned was about stephen Gallagher is one you said any good I will keep an eye out for him I do read other writers than British ones too like Richard laymon Robert mccammon jhon Saul Stephen King Dean Koontz john Farris
  6. Was just wondering what people opinion his on laws is I find him a brilliant writer I like a lot of British writers read a few of his ghost train .spectre .Gideon and am now reading the wrym I am always on look out for new British authors

    I like to read horror mainly Gorey stuff don't mind suspence stuff thrillers too here's some authors I read .Richard laymon Shaun hutson john Saul Robert mccammon ramsy Campbell Stephen laws Graham masterton Dean koontz .not saying I've read all of there works but I am always looking to had to the list if you can recommend any as I'm trying to read more to complete my good reads challenge 2018

    I read the uninvited didn't realy like it the writing was good but the book just didn't grip me I've herd that he was very underrated for his time as he was written at the same time as King an Koontz like to read more of him to give him a good go any opinions reccomends?

    Try Shaun hutson early book like slugs breading ground relics spawn deathday nemesis realy sick and Gorey .Richard laymon too I reasently discovered Robert mccammon everything I've read buy him as been good swan song was amazing

    As anyone read came across him in a second hand bookshop I go too time to time got too books by him valley of lights and downriver was just wondering if he's good and peoples opinions
  12. Stephen King & James Herbert

    A Buick 8 was dreadfully I thought couldn't get into that one I have found some of kings works not great like desperation bag of bones cell and the last few books in the dark tower series realy let me down as for Herbert I have enjoyed all his books I've read though he isn't as prolific as King I suppose you can't hit a home run every time out to bat!!
