Thank you to everyone who entered our competition to find a new name for this forum. There were some fascinating ideas, some sensible, some completely bananas. The efforts that you put in are very much appreciated.

In the end, it has to be a personal decision, and the name that I like best is 'Library', which was suggested by sebastian melmoth. Well done to him.

Not only is 'Library' a building where books live, it is also a room in a house - and since other forums often call their equivalents 'Lounge', it seems fitting that we should have a library instead. It is also a room where people gather - particularly in murder mystery novels.

However, I think the word 'Library' on its own is a bit short, so I thought we could call it 'Central Library', since it has become the centre for general discussion about books.

So congratulations to sebastian melmoth. He wins a signed copy of Lost Worlds by Michael Bywater. I will be posting it to you shortly (I already have your address).

We also ran another competition in our newsletter for the member who gained the most referrals from new members up to March 31st. The winner is Kate Allan, who has introduced a number of her author friends to Book Group Online. Well done and a big thanks to her. Your prize is a chance to shamelessly plug your new novel The Lady Soldier, written under the name Jennifer Lindsay, which comes out in hardback next month.

Well done, Sebastian! How about giving us a review of your 'prize' after you have read it? :)
