Overheard on the bus this morning............
First man "They should bring back the Norse gods, especially that Odin"

Second man mumbles

First man " Because then we could do a religious service"

Second man "oh yeah"

First man " ...and hang the bxxxxxds!!"

I sometimes feel I am living in a parallell universe but that was definitely one of the weirdest for a while.
Anybody else heard anything interesting?

I reckon I use buses about once every 3 years!

Last time was in London a year or two ago, when the tube was closed. I was sitting downstairs (it was a double-decker, one of those with no doors at the back, where you just step on or off) and someone got on. For some reason, he just stood at the back of the bus, not holding on to anything. The bus pulled away, and the guy fell flat on his back in the middle of Oxford Street. The conductor just looked at him as the bus sped away. Whether the poor chap was flattened by the next bus, I have no idea.

The time before that, was in Cardiff, getting a bus from the Millennium Stadium back to the car park. The bus was packed with Reading supporters, and not a word was spoken by anyone. I'm pretty sure that some of you were on that or a similar bus that same day.

Couldn't believe what I heard a school girl say to her friend whilst on the way to school. It seems they were talking about a school trip to an activity venue where you work in teams to solve problems etc etc. her friend asked what the point was of going on these trips, to which the girl in question answered:

"it's to make learning more funner"
