As a way of celebrating Book Group Online’s very first sponsorship deal – The Book Pl@ce now kindly pay for our Top 20 Book Charts - I have put together the second BGO Book Quiz. If you wish to buy any of the books in our Top 20s, all you have to do is click on an individual entry and then click on the book jacket. The Book Place is an online bookshop which provides excellent discounts on all our chart books. The only exceptions to this are where they are selling signed copies.
The lengths of book titles, especially non-fiction, are expanding year by year. No self-respecting non-fiction title these days is without its subtitle. Some of them seem to be almost as long as the book itself. In this quiz, I’ve taken twelve books from the current Non-Fiction Paperback and Hardback Top 20s, and I’ve mixed up the main titles and the subtitles. All you have to do is work out which subtitle genuinely goes with which book. As you will see, some of the new titles are more appropriate than the real ones.
The only rule is that no poster can answer more than one question in a row. You must wait for another member to post an answer before you can answer another question. (Otherwise one person could answer them all and ruin it for everyone.) I will return regularly to say whether answers are right or wrong, then when they are all answered correctly, I will write a post containing all the answers.
1. Grumpy Old Women: The Rough Guides Travel Guide
2. Long Way Round: The Easy, Healthy Way To Permanent Weight Loss
3. The Da Vinci Code: The True Story Of A Convent Childhood
4. Eastenders: Wake Your Mind Up!

6. He’s Just Not That Into You: My Life With John Thaw
7. The Two Of Us: But Still Feeling 18 Inside
8. Mind Gym: Chasing Shadows Around The World

10. You Are What You Eat: The No-Excuses Truth To Understanding Guys
11. Red Herrings And White Elephants: The Plan That Will Change Your Life
