This easy to read biography tells the story of Eddie Chapman, aka Agent ZigZag, Fritz....
The petty criminal ends up trapped in a Jersey prison at the Beginning of the Second World War, being transported to France he buys his way out of seclusion by offering his knowledge of bombs to the Germans. He is quickly whisked away and trained as a spy working for Germany, kept in a luxuirious house, paid hansomely and given the training that he had lied about already having he is prepared and trained for a drop into England in order to destroy the Mosquito (wooden fighter planes) factory.

I've had this on my bookshelf for a few years - need to bump it up a bit.

Agent Zigzag is a cracking read - especially if you love a true story as I do. Highly recommended. Operation Mincemeat by the same author is another amazing real life adventure from WW2.
