Hi!

So this is my first time here so if I am posting this in the wrong part of the site please kindly direct me as to where I should re post this!

It is my boyfriends birthday on the 31st of this month. I wanted to buy him a book, trouble is he only has read and re read one book. This was a book called Ice Station by Matthe Reilly.

He has tried to read other books of mine but had found them "boring".

I would love suggestions from anyone if you know of books that he would like if he liked Ice Station.

In case you don't know what Ice Station is here is a little overview http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_Station_(novel)

Thanks :)

Holly.

What about Matthew Reilly's other novels?
There are four others that follow Ice Station in the 'Scarecrow' series, and if they don't live up to your boyfriend's expectations I can't see any other book fitting the bill.

Hi Holly

I think he may enjoy Clive Cussler, try his Dirk Pitt books. The first one is called the Mediteranean Caper.

I put 'authors like Clive Cussler' into google and one of the sites they recomended was Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/If-you-like-Clive-Cussler/lm/R2U888B4301R8Q

this page shows books similar to Cussler and Matthew Reilly is listed there as well as others, so hopefully you'll find something for him there.
