I've just finished this... I'm SO disappointed with the ending. (Is this post meant to go here or somewhere else? *confused newbie*) :D

Anyway - I'd like to discuss the ending, but not ruin it for others who haven't read it yet...

Oh dear, I enjoyed reading this and not long enough ago to excuse having forgotten the ending completely! What was so bad about it, MJ? (remember to use /SPOILER tags!)

I just felt that the last chapter could have been an edge-of-the-seat nailbiter... If we weren't told who won the war before the book described the events of the war.

I'd still definately recommend it though - for sheer originality and imagiantion.

It's about a couple of Tribes that live in the Carpet, and have to deal with a vicious natural phenomonan called Fray.
