Just finished reading Carole Caplin's new health & fitness offering 'Lifesmart', which I notice came out just in time for all of us to start our detoxes 'Carole-style'.
Whilst a lot of it is common sense (eat yer greens, drink yer water and move yer bottom) it is vaguely disconcerting to see Carole on virtually every page, immaculately styled in white outfits and leotards, long hair sleekly posed to perfection over the shoulder, when the reason most people are buying this book is because they feel porky, spotty and a tad jaded.
According to Caplin, just about everything is bad for you, but when she starts claiming that even spinach and beetroot 'can cause problems', I started to switch off. I have never heard of anyone who managed to consume so much of these vegetables that it made them ill!
Can't wait to see what they make her eat on celeb Big Brother. :p
