Due for publication in June 2008.

Liam is too big for his boots, his football strip, and his school blazer. But being super-sized height-wise has its advantages: he's the only eleven-year-old to ever ride the G-force defying Cosmic rollercoaster or be offered the chance to drive a Porsche. Long-legged Liam makes a giant leap for boy-kind by competing with a group of adults for the chance to go into space. Is Liam the best boy for the job? Sometimes being big isn't all about being a grown-up.Frank Cotrell Boyce novels always require an element of suspension of belief. This one takes it slightly further!

However, once you have got past the fact that a 12 year old boy is regularly mistaken for a 30 something man, this is a humourous, gripping and enjoyable read.

It's hard to say too much without giving away crucial plot elements, but Boyce has got his characters spot on - you are feeling with Liam everything that is happening in the story.

Boyce always writes in a way that is so easy to read, and there is nothing in this story that would need censoring. Although Liam is 12, this could easily be read by Key Stage 2 children.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be recommending it left, right and centre.
