This will be a short thread, as there is so rarely any Shakespeare on TV, but I spotted this (http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctwo/listings/programme.shtml?day=thursday&service_id=4224&filename=20080207/20080208_0200_4224_22057_90) hidden away in the small hours of Friday morning this week.
Yes! 2am!! The National Youth Theatre production of The Merchant Of Venice, followed at 03.30 by a half-hour long, animated version, of Macbeth.
Presumably part of an education strand, to be recorded for classroom use by teachers, but I should think it might be interesting for any Shakey fan to see yet another company's version.
