After the two or three days over Christmas of gift giving and receiving, I always wonder which of the presents I have received I will remember the following year. It would be hypocritical of me to say that the smallest or most personal is necessarily the best or most memorable - although it can be. What do other BGO members remember?

hmm, most memorable. i've had a fair few odd presents over the years... i tend to get themed presents usually. this year i've had a lot of film-related presents. nothing to do with having just started a degree in english and film!! my biggest present was/is a textbook that i actually asked for - what does that say?!? and there has been a worrying trend of receiving tights in my sockings over the last few years, hmm...

Last year, as a joint pressie between me, my sister and my two brothers, we got a trampoline. Not a small one, it got like a 16ft diameter, it's funky!

Somebody once bought me a violin-shaped toilet roll holder.

Probably a poem someone wrote for me which is very special. Or my mint-green Danelectro bass guitar with fifties lipstick case pick-ups, it's a beautiful thing.

Well it's not really memorable but my best Christmas present was a really REALLY nice clarinet a couple of years back.
