Know of any good websites?
Post here to share them with everyone!

For all of you LoTR fans, there's a board (www.theone-boards.net) and it's brilliant! There are loads of members and all the peopleon it are really nice!

Anyone else know some good sites?

How do you make something into a link? is there a link tag? :o

I just 'copy' the address in the bar at the top of the page I want to put a link for (where it starts http;//www.), then 'paste' it into my message.
As long as I put a space each end it comes out as a link when it's posted (I check it works in 'preview post' first before actually committing it to public scrutiny}

When you're replying, It's the button on the toolbar that has a picture of Earth with a chain-link in the bottom r.h. corner. If you hover the mouse over it, it says "Insert Hyperlink" on it. Click on that and it takes you through it. Nothing wrong with megustaleer's way, but this way allows you to put text on the clicky link rather than just using the www address.

Another of my occasional visits is this American site:

Culture Vulture (http://www.culturevulture.net)

You got it megustaleer, but it's all in the wording. To the reader The Simpsons Archive (www.snpp.com) looks a lot better than this (www.snpp.com)

Dilbert cartoons (http://www.dilbert.com)

The Dilbert strip speaks to this office drone about his life. It is frightening.

It was time to go to work. In too much of a hurry to be creative! Just typed the easiest word and the nearest link to experiment with.
