What are yours??

I suppose mine are to be more regular in my practising of the piano (trying to teach myself to play jazz piano), to do more creative writing (started writing a novel, got to about 20,000 words, but haven't finished it), and to be a bit more active (in this cold weather, I just want to curl up on the sofa!). Oh and read more books! :D

I dunno I haven't really though about them. I guess I should spend less time on the internet, spend more time on useful things such as reading or playing clarinet or piano. Oh and I should be tidier. Now all of those will be failed after about 3 days so I should also try and keep New Year's resolutions until at least February!

Don't bother with the boyfriend Meg - you've got some real aspirations there - get a couple of those under your belt and the boyfriend will come and get YOU. ;)

Mine is to give myself at least 30mins every day to THINK.

So little thinking goes on in our lives today, and, having given myself time to develop some thoughts I have really surprised myself with some new found skills in the last few months. Thinking time will give me time to develop other skills that are dormant - I don't know what they are yet, but that's part of the fun.

Oh and listen to more Anthony Robbins stuff - he is the inspiration!

To hopefully have commenced an archaeology course by the years end.
To visit more museums, more often.

My main NY resolution was to start a blog:

http://kateallan.blogspot.com

(well, all the usual diet / exercise stuff is rather boring)

All failed.

Ask me again in January (thats only just over 3 months away!!!) and then I can sound impressive as I'll still be sticking to the new ones then!

'January is just three months away'. Jeez, that's a dark thought...

For Jewish types like myself, New Year (aka Rosh Hashanah) is on 4th October, i.e. just under 3 weeks away. Oh, the joy of getting to break two sets of resolutions every year.
