Not a phrase I hear every day but it appears in the story linked below. I can't quite get over that people would do this, it's amazing but also rather wonderful so I thought I'd share it.

I really enjoyed that story - thanks! There's a wonderful romance to it and frankly it really ought to be a novel. You're right, Meg, there are less heart-warming implications, but I'm too delighted by the glorious audacity of it all! This is very much the Parisian equivalent of the British 'likeable lag' who turns over a bank with style and without hurting anyone!

:D There is actually an underground gardening mob that go round town centres in the dead of night and revive old council flower displays that have been neglected. Trust the British to do gardens!
