The Beatitudes, Book I in The New Orleans Trilogy, was published August, 2007. I am donating ALL royalties from sale of The Beatitudes directly to The New Orleans Public Library Foundation to help rebuild the public libraries of New Orleans. I grew up in New Orleans and the downtown public library was my sanctuary, giving me safe heaven and many wonderful adventures away from a difficult childhood. I also started Th Beatitudes Network-Rebuilding the Public Libraries of New Orleans at www.beatitudesinneworleans.blogspot.com and recently an international movement called The Blue Book Campaign has started. Instead of wearing a wristband of a certain color, everyone is urged to carry The Beatitudes, which is a blue book.
