Well, I agree. It doesn't have a chance - I can't see it lasting beyond two responses, frankly.
In fact, I'd be amazed whether anyone even bothers reading more than a couple of words of it. What would be the point? Nope, it'll have fallen apart before we know it.

Goldie Lookin' Chain (or GLC) are the very amusing Newport answer to the Wu-Tang Clan (ie a seven-man rap act). With remarkable broad-mindedness, the Welsh FA recently invited them to open the Wales/England footie match in Cardiff - and the band courted a tiny amount of controversy by dedicating their 'Your Missus is a Nutter' single to David Beckham.

Not a fan, as such - but they have had Battenburg on 2 for 1 recently!!!!! (Could I make a chain of cake? Sounds tasty!)
I tend to shop at Asda mostly though! Closer to home - I don't actually live in Eastleigh, just work there (in the Swan Centre........)
I think you are narrowing down "The South Coast of England" by admitting to knowing there is a Tesco in the Swan Centre, David!
David

In fact I used to live in Chandlers Ford :). That was a good decade ago now - I'm further to the East at the moment (have to preserve a degree of mystery!). Now, do you remember Asda when it was a Carrefour? Restaurant was a lot better then!
Battenburg deal does sound good, I must admit.
Probably poisoned.
Flingo

Has always been Asda in my experience - have only lived down here for 3 years. Much more northern really (well, the locals keep telling me that Bedford is "Northern"!)
If the Battenburg is poinsoned then I think I ought to say "Farewell" right now, I might not get another chance with the quantities I have consumed.
David
29th September 2005, 11:10 PM
Ecky Thump! Bedford!!
Had a friend there once but he had the sense like yourself to move south. I was getting tired of the visa process to go that far north to visit him, so it was as well, really.
(Braces self for northern backlash) ;)
